Job Description :
Contribution to Business/Profit:
- Define and develop, establish ownership, and maintain strategic plans to meet the Bank’s sourcing strategy;
Leverage market research, industry communities and external relationship to provide insight and advice on supplier strengths and weaknesses to projects or persons considering engaging a new supplier;
Identify, formulate, progress, finalize and operational commercial matters to meet the Bank’s needs. Secure optimal contractual arrangements with efficiency and effectiveness, minimize the Bank’s exposure to risk and provide for future expenditure within approved financial commitments ;
Facilitate the development by Product Managers of appropriate service level agreement/objectives between users and suppliers;
Identify and realize improvements/cost savings, as well as investigating, analyzing and progressing disputes to resolution;
Proactively participate in IT and Sourcing industry forums, and conduct and interpret research on emerging industry and technology trends to enable Bank to proactively leverage its position in the market ;
Efficient and accurate commercial management of agreement;
Effective and precise development and evaluation of sourcing strategies;
Successful negotiation of specific commercial arrangements and disputes on behalf of the Bank;
Education of Business Units with respect to their negotiated obligations;
Continuous improvement based on learning;
Overall vendor management (e.g. SL compliance etc.).
Day to day:
Summarize requisitions approved and check authority’s approval in accordance to the Power to Sign policy;
Look to quotation minimal 3 suppliers who could supply company’s needs;
Negotiate with vendor for a better price, better service and offer good prospective partnership in the future;
Maintain good relationship with current vendors %26amp; prospective vendors;
Willing to work Business unit to come out with solution;
Working closed with vendor to meet the target date and SLA;
Knowing Business unit need and elaborate in the procurement process that he/she done.
To Lead and develop sourcing team (IT and Non IT) in daily activity.
To Lead current in country or regional project that relate to sourcing activity.
