Job Summary

Lead Sales Operations across all its functions to improve sales and distribution processes and continuously improve performance across all sales activities in order to achieve business objectives.

Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities

. Lead the development and implementation of strategy for Sales Operations as part of the Sales and Distribution strategic direction.
. Own, develop and lead the review, completion and implementation of business requirements and as a result of analysis and/or business needs identify, develop and implement solutions to meet future governance requirements.
. Own, develop, and lead the implementation of regulatory requirements for Sales and Distribution including the reporting, developing and codifying of processes and procedures including those affecting the wider business where appropriate.
. Lead the design and operational implementation of Commercial Rapid Response including the review and development of associated operational procedures. Contributing to the Personal Lines Trading meeting structure. Support specific large and complex opportunities and Tenders.
. Establish, analyse and report against agreed budgets and develop action plans where required.

Systems:
. Lead the development and implementation of Foundation functionality and the establishment of Access Support (telephony and email) within Sales Operations for broker Users.
. Lead the governance and systems support for Heads of Distribution and Sales in developing and delivering Segmentation and Value propositions.
. Lead the identification of strategic requirements, development of solutions, report production and analysis of Management Information within Sales and Distribution.
. Lead the design and support provided by Sales Operations and ensure alignment where appropriate with non Global structures.

Broker Advance Commissions and Loans. Lead the operational implementation through:
. developing procedures and guidelines.
. project manage individual proposals through to decision and payment including broker discussions.
. monitor ongoing performance, repayment and compliance including broker discussions.
. present loan submissions and performance updates at Board level.

Business Accountabilities

. Design and implement business process standards and deliver programs / campaigns to ensure they are adhered to.

. Monitor performance and identify consistent non-compliance issues escalated by other team members, and highlight patterns to be addressed.

. Contribute to the development of sales and distribution processes and lead the implementation of systems and process improvements in customer segments across multiple geographies.

. Evaluate the most complex customer/distributor issues and service requests and develop bespoke technical solutions to enable the organization to meet their needs within policy constraints, and make changes to drive segment growth where possible.

. Analyze key themes from a wide range of data sources in order to identify how different scenarios may impact upon the business and make recommendations to improve sales processes and effectiveness.

. Develop and manage ongoing relationships with key internal stakeholders in order to identify and deliver solutions that benefit both parties.

. Leverage the appropriate tools to improve sales effectiveness and pursue improvement of customer segment capabilities across multiple geographies (including development of customer or distributor insights segmentation and value proposition).

. Lead the implementation of projects for a function or business area to deliver defined objectives (e.g. sales process improvement) with allocated resources and in timescales typically of less than one year.
