Overview of the Job
The GroupM Services team adopts a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for GroupM Agencies (Mindshare, Wavemaker, Mediacom) and their clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.
The
Social Buying Executive/Manager contributes to or leads a team in GroupM Servicesthatexecutes the Paid Social media/advertising campaigns for clients across GroupM Agencies (Mindshare, Wavemaker, Mediacom). Minimum 2 years experience (for Executive level) or minimum 3 years experience (for Manager level) in Digital/Social Marketing with knowledge and experience on Paid Social platforms including Facebook Business Manager.

GroupM Services ResponsibilitiesThe GroupM Services team adopt a collaborative and customer-centric approach in delivering high value and innovative solutions for our Agencies and Agencies clients, including the activation and execution of dynamic media campaigns.
The following are the responsibilities of the GroupM Services (Social) Buying team and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:
- Ensure solid team's understanding of brand, deliverables and campaign KPIs for all GroupM Agencies clients in their portfolio Ensure team understanding of media behaviors and how the target audience interacts with Social touchpoints (i.e. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance clients campaigns and advice GroupM Agency accordingly
- Proactively address, and when needed escalate, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
- Ensure team understanding and compliance with finance process (optimization requirements and schedule updates), GroupM policies and procedures
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by demonstrate openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise.
- Incentivize and facilitate sharing of good practices and knowledge of new trends, channels and technologies across Social activation
Individual Responsibilities
- Independently plan (create media schedule) full funnel planning tactics for Social activation (i.e. awareness, consideration and conversion touchpoints including eCommerce requirements) across multiple Paid Social platforms (Core platforms: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter are required Additional platforms such as LINE, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest is highly recommended)
- Lead and implement Social campaign activities of established local and global brands across multiple industries
- Provide actionable insights during mid and post campaign reports to improve in-flight optimizations and future campaign brief recommendations
- Attain Facebook Blueprint Planner and Buyer certifications
- Attain Twitter Flight School Badges
- Manage a cluster team and be responsible for team coaching and day-to-day supervision
- Any other project or tasks as assigned from time to time
Mandatory Qualification and Skills- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Digital/Social Marketing or relevant industry
- Manager level: At least 1 year in managing people demonstrated by abilityto drivepeopletowardsjoint goals,mentor, coach and motivatethem as well ashold themaccountable for their results.
- Knowledge and experience in on Paid Social platforms including inherent knowledge of Facebook Business Manager and Twitter Ad Manager is a requirement
