The GrabMart Corporate Sales team is a young and energetic team that strives to simplify business transportation and related services for our GrabMart merchants. Get to know the Role:
As an City Sales Manager, you will be on the ground supervising the operational day to day activities at the area, ensuring efficient operation on a day-to-day basis. Your team will support the on-boarding, engagement and optimization of delivery operations.

The day-to-day activities:

  • You are responsible for implementing the overall merchant strategy to maximise the Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), and achieve the sales targets

  • You will be leading a team of Merchant Acquisition and Account Management associate in the day to day operations, to maximise that works to acquire, maintain relationships, and maximise the GMV from our merchants

  • You will create models to evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of merchant acquisition, engagement, and retention programs and experiments.

  • You will develop analytical frameworks and coordinate with other business units to measure the impact and efficiency of our team, new products and business processes

  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with Grabbers from Operations, Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, and BD teams to improve the merchant experience and achieve the market goals

  • You will study the data and identify operational weaknesses to help the team innovate and improve over a continued time

The must haves:

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in operations, commercial, marketing function and prior experience with leading an end-to-end sales cycle

  • You are able to communicate your ideas and suggestions in a clear and concise way

  • You are proficient with analytics and fluent with tools which help you achieve a clear understanding of data sets

  • You can manage a team of people and display good interpersonal skills

  • You have good computer literacy (i.e. Microsoft Office, GSuite Apps)

  • You can communicate your ideas and suggestions in a clear and succinct way

  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a plus

  • You are able to practice a high level of discretion, a strong sense of accountability, self-motivated, good sense of business/ cultural priorities and nuances
