We are currently looking to hire an Business Analyst/Business Analyst Lead for our team in Jakarta.
About the Team
Part of the Central Strategic Operations Team for GrabFood Indonesia which supports overall operational activities for the rapidly growing GrabFood and GrabMart business, across all cities in Indonesia
Team works closely with GrabFood leadership team, to design, build, implement and improve operational processes that support and strengthen the business
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading and executing ways to use data, to measure and analyse business and operations performance for GrabFood/GrabMart Indonesia
  • Partner with management and operational teams to deep dive on core issues and use our data to find answers.
  • Provide analytical support on strategic business and operational projects, using big data to tackle the toughest challenges for the business. Lead operational reporting activities, monitoring key metrics and alerting operational managers on potential issues
  • Lead business automation projects to streamline manual processes and automate reporting
  • Design reports and performance measurement dashboards supporting GrabFood Indonesia's strategic operational projects

  • Bachelor (and/or) degree and fluent in Bahasa and English preferably in Analytics, Statistics, Economics or Engineering
  • Experience in business, strategy and/or tech consulting would be an advantage. Strong foundation in data query/manipulation using SQL and data visualisation using tools like Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience using Python, R or other tools for statistical analysis is a strong plus.
  • Experience using Big Data technologies (Presto, Spark, PySpark) is a strong plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Science role, preferably in an Internet or Direct to Consumer company with large, complex, high velocity data
  • Effective communicator to both technical and business audiences and passion about solving problems - possesses a relentless need for investigation and data exploration.
  • Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing and ambiguous environment
