Principle Dutiesand Responsibilities:- To support the ORM team in performing the day-to-day Risk Management activities, consist of risk identification, risk assessment, control & action assessment, and monitoring & reporting process
- To work with Risk Coordinators in managing risks within departmental/ functional level
- To manage the incidents and breaches, including to review and to challenge the submission from departments, monitor, follow-up and report the progress to the various stakeholders in periodic basis
- To manage the Department Risk Register (DRR), including to review and to challenge the submission from the departments, monitor, follow-up and report the latest status to the various stakeholder in periodic basis
- To manage the Key Risk Register (KRR), including to identify any new key risk, monitor, follow-up and report the latest status to the Risk Committee and Regional Head Office
- To manage the Turnbull Certification, including to review and to challenge the submission from the departments, monitor, follow-up, and report the latest status to the various stakeholder and also to prepare the Company level Turnbull Certification for Risk Committee and Regional Head Office
- To manage the Scenario Analysis (SA), including to review and to challenge the submission from the departments, monitor, follow-up and report the result to Risk Committee and Regional Head Office
- To manage all Risk Management periodic/ ad-hoc tasks (e.g. Risk Control Assessment, Compliance to Policies Self-Assessment, etc) and deliveries which include all report submission (for both ORM as required on the ORM Manual and coordinating ERM, including requirements from others (regulators, internal/ external audit, SOX review, and any other parties) to be reviewed by supervisor
- To manage all reporting internally (e.g Risk Committee and Risk Monitoring Committee) and also external/ regulatory requirements which relate to Risk Management (e.g Risk Based Supervision, Integrated Risk Management and any other upcoming regulation)
- To review and oversee all tasks delivered by Risk Coordinator and also to support all tasks assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:QualificationCandidate must possess a recognized Degree in Actuarial Science / Finance / Accounting with outstanding academic background.
ExperienceCandidate must have at minimum 4-6 years of experience in Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance from Financial Institutions, Banking, or big 4 Accounting Firms (experience from Life Insurance related clients is preferred)
Knowledge and skills- Candidate must be a responsible and professional person, proactive and initiative, having high integrity in delivering the best quality of work
- Articulate, with constructive mind and able to work effectively, efficiently, and independently with minimum supervision as well as able to manage deadlines
- Able to work under pressure, multiple tasks, overtime
- Mature, positive attitude and self-confident
- Having an excellent communication skill, excellent verbal and written English
- Possessing strong MS Excel skills
- Having Risk Management related trainings and certification will be an advantage
