Grab for Business is the B2B SaaS team within Grab that helps to simplify business transportation, corporate food & package deliveries as well as related services for companies across Southeast Asia. We actively engage with top companies and brands across the region and it's imperative that we drive efficient revenue channels within our organization. To this end, we are looking for an incredibly resilient and capable Key Account Manager in our Grab for Business team.
Get to know the role
This role serves as a key member of the GrabforBusiness (GfB) team and your primary responsibilities will revolve around GfB key accounts, building and developing relationships through strategic profitability initiatives.
To perform this role well, the candidate needs to have exceptional solution-sales skills, strong sales strategy and communication capabilities, attention to detail, the ability to create and follow sales processes, and an exemplary track record of exceeding expectations.
The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Manages a portfolio of strategic key accounts focusing on building strong and long-term relationships, and developing account-specific growth strategies

  • Identifies opportunities through data-backed insights to successfully upsell and cross-sell Grab for Business solutions

  • Actively tracks strategic key accounts performance and conducts business reviews on a regular basis with the goal of keeping abreast of accounts business updates, addressing their pain points, and exploring new business opportunities.

  • Conducts joint business planning with key accounts to ensure a strategic collaborative relationship to achieve mutually beneficial growth objectives

  • Works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop solutions that best address the accounts needs and to support grow their business through Grab for Business Solution.

The Must-Haves

  • Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent

  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in the financial service industry

  • Deep network in Bank Buku 4 and Bank Buku 3 (Or KBMI 1 - 3)

  • Experience in building long term key account planning and relationships

  • Past track record of hitting high sales targets and being able to build relationships with C-Suite executives

  • Experience in fast-paced sectors such as consulting, technology, digital media, fintech, payment, or telco

  • Excellent in negotiations, problem-solving, analytical abilities, and sales consulting

  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying merchant needs

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
