Job description
Main Responsibilities

• Daily Monitor and check the installed hardware in DC

• Do the screening on the observed problem / alert from the system and log ticket to HPSM tool

• Do a problem determination / initial problem handling on the observed problem

• Escalate to L2 support (Cisco TAC) if necessary

• Receiving the action plan from Cisco and spare part when Cisco TAC decide to release the part to DC

• Raise the RFC and submitting the Method of Procedure for any correction/preventive activities

• Replace the part as per action plan from Cisco TAC/L2

• Close the SR / Ticket to Cisco when problem solved

• Providing weekly report on all the activities above

Job Requirement

• Cisco Certification: Minimum CCNA certified, CCNP certified is preferable.

• Knowledge of Cisco LAN technologies.

• Knowledge of Cisco Server technologies.

• Knowledge of Non Cisco LAN solutions (Loadbalancers - Checkpoint, Citrix, Juniper, etc.)

• Knowledge of Non Cisco Server technologies (HP Servers, Oracle Servers, IBM Servers)

• Knowledge in TCP/IP HTTP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, SSH etc.

• English: fluent or intermediate

• Has a minimum of 2 years experience in complex network environment
