Job Description
We’re an award-winning global outsourcer providing contact center and back office services on behalf of our global clients. As a Claims Ancillary Officer, your role is vital in keeping our customers happy and contributing to our organization’s growth and success.

As an Acquire BPO employee, you are responsible for complying and enforcing policies and procedure designed to achieve information security. You are also responsible for protecting credit card, personal and/or sensitive personal information that you may handle or process during your employment in Acquire BPO.


You’re the genie that fulfils our customer’s needs. As a Claims Ancillary Officer, you’ll be responsible for processing customer ancillary claims and other ancillary functions, in a manner that is effective, efficient and focused on outstanding customer service.

Your day could see you:

• Claim Tasks

o Accurately and efficiently action customer ancillary claim exceptions via HealthStream (Band 1 – 3)

o Accurately and efficiently process manual customer ancillary claims (Band 1 – 3)

o Accurately and efficiently action other claims related functions:

Claims adjustments/reversals (Band 2 & 3)

Complex Orthodonture Quotes (Band 2 & 3)

Claims Reports (Band 2 & 3)

Customer Service Teams Referred Claims & Ex-Gratia claims (Band 2 & 3)

• Customer Service & Communication

o Accurate communication (written) with customers and providers (Band 1-3)

o Provide a support function for external customers and internal departments by:

• Answering Internal Claims enquiries - all channels (Band 2 & 3)

• Answering Public Folder enquiries – complex claims problems (Band 3)

• Answering claims processing queries (Band 3)

• Efficiently handle phone enquiries relating to benefits, policies and compensation (Band 3)

• Make outbound calls to customers and providers regarding claiming information (Band 3)

• Act as the first point of resolution for customer complaints and disputes. Escalate complaints in line with the campaign’s complaints handling process (Band 3)

• Maintain current knowledge of products and services (Band 1-3)

• Business Awareness

o Make recommendations to continuously improve the daily operations within the ancillary claims functions, with an emphasis on customer service (TLC) and areas of claims leakage (Band 1-3)

o Participate in claims review activities (Band 1-3)

o Refer inappropriate claims activities to the Claims Analysis (Band 1-3)

o Providing subject matter expertise to projects relating to ancillary claims (Band 3)

o Perform other duties as required by the Team Leader in line with skills and knowledge possessed (Band 1-4)

• WHS Responsibility

o Implement and comply with the campaign's WHS Management System.

o Take reasonable care for own health and safety as well as the safety of others at the place of work.

• Compliance

o Meet obligations required for the compliance category of this position.


• Ability to learn all claims processing procedures

• Ability to learn all services covered under the campaign's products

• Computer Literacy (including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet).
