Job Description
  • Responsible for being the domain experts in assigned business/product segments, understand the customers issues/ needs and having ability to provide/integrate the right solution / technical offer to meet with the customers technical challenges/ commercial needs and subsequently, influence specifications in the tender in favour of company.
  • Assist Country Manager and Sales teams to build sales plans, follow with implementation and execution of sales strategies and plans for assigned products/solutions/services to meet or exceed annual sales goals at the assigned country/territory.
  • Provide Analysis and Understanding of available market for planning business for assigned Business Units in the assigned region
  • Initiate and conduct a substantial amount of independent interface with customers, SIs, strategic alliance partners and business / product managers in the early engagement of Sales in converting and developing business opportunities for the targeted accounts.
  • Spend quality time in identifying the sweet spots of product and solution to market, understanding the customers RFQ across multiple industries, developing on-spec application to ensure that the solution presented by company is superior as compared with competitors in terms of differentiated solution value proposition and competitive from the aspects of terms of technical specifications, pricing, etc.
  • Support ongoing customer engagements including delivering presentation in marketing events, building awareness of company products and solutions & service, providing product demonstrations, coordinating proof of concept, prepare and present sales proposal to customers.
  • Review the forecast and front log, define the growth acceleration / recovery activities with country sales and channel support teams, in a timely manner.
  • Track and drive actions to convert Top Z2/Z3 targets in the area of responsibilities.
  • Active participation in sales funnel reviews and channel collaboration meetings by asking the right questions and providing suggestions on next steps/actions in view of closing of identified opportunities.
  • Provide periodical business and products / solution updates, share success stories and update reference lists/ track records to enhance the competencies and knowledge of Sales team and channel partners.
  • Part of team for BU business planning. Find the opportunities of the product for customers, guide the sales to go to market and going-in on competitive pricing based on understanding of the customers requirements and/or solutions strategy/ proposed applications. This should not be confused as part of the pricing team function.
  • Support Sales Team by active participation and contribution in joint customer visits and in Win Strategy Calls.
  • Embrace Market Access Limited Distribution Model and collaborate with our appointed Distributors for mutual company and Distributors success.
  • Be accountable for the completion of annual corporate requirements including and not limited to participation in audit, reporting, training, CSR/ employee activities, etc.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as and when assigned by the direct Manager, from time to time.
